Scotland Trip - 14th August 2006 (Edinburgh)

I looked forward to go to Edinburgh long time ago especially in August because there is an art carnival in every August. We took 4 hours trains from Kings Cross London to Edinburgh. The journey wasn't good because the seat wasn't comfortable (The shape of the seat didn't fit mine even though it is bigger than those on planes)

We were CONTENT with the guest house VERY VERY VERY much. It is managed by Christine and John. They are nice, talkative and helpful. They gave us suggestion that made our journey smooth. The room was clean and comfortable that we thought, to certain extend, it was better than some hotels. So, if you go to Edinburgh, you can book their rooms.

We entered Edinburgh Castle only today because the train made us exhausted. Therefore, we didn't visit the castle thoroughly.

There was one thing that I didn't expect before ~~
Edinburgh Military TATTOO tickets. I wanted to see Military Tattoo at Edinburgh castle ( http://www.edintattoo.co.uk/ ) , which was a traditional show of Celtic pipe. John told me that it was very difficult to get tickets at once and many people booked their tickets one year before. However, Christine told us that we could try to go to the ticket office the next morning, may be there were some returned tickets for sale. THX! Christine.
