England Trip - 27th July 2006 (Arrival + Course)

Arrived at London Heathrow Airport at a quarter to six in the morning, I released since I could get rid of that Spain baby boy. The coach which took us to YMCA and the Sundial Court passed through many streets that I had been to before. All memories of my last trip in England recalled, however, the first thing I wanted to do in London was having a shower and changing new clothes.

I was arranged to sleep in YMCA. According to the priest, who organized this course, YMCA was a nice place, which to certain extend, was much better than Sundial Court. When I entered my room, I found that the situation of the room was totally opposite to what the priest described, No private bathroom, the guests of each floor have to share a bathroom with three toilets and two shower places. It was inconceivable that the bathroom was shared by both male and female guests. Furthermore, there were no lock and door for the shower place, only shower curtain provided. POOR! I had to stay in a dirty and insecure bathroom and a dusty bedroom for few days.

I found that the students of this course were energetic. After a long flight, they chose traveling around London before the course briefing rather than taking rest in their bedrooms. From the beginning, I preferred staying in the bedroom to take a nap but I found that my luggage could not be opened by the original password! I FELL IN AN EVIL DAY!! So, I followed them to Westminster Abbey, Covent Garden and China Town. I was exhausted. When I went back my bedroom before the briefing, I prayed and tried to find out the new password. I tried from ‘000’; finally, I got it in '5XX'. Thanks God, I could change my dirty clothes.

Moreover, I have made a wrong decision. I booked a ticket of Les Miserable in this exhausted night. Les Mis was a very good musical; I have listened to it in Hong Kong many times. However, the performers did not perform well at the first part. POOR!!
