England Trip - 29th July 2006 (Course)

I was happy that I could sleep for more than six hours yesterday night. Today, I took the chance to play a hymn in the workshop and the tutor, Anne Marsden Thomas (the director of St. Gile), gave me some valuable comments and recommendations. VERY NICE!!

Started to 'pour the water' from my purse because I have promised Mrs Fok (the senior organist of my church) to buy some organ books for church. The books were heavy but I couldn't stop to buy more because discount was offered to the students of Anne.

Today's programme was splendid. We got a special permission to enter the Temple Church to see its organ. Temple church became popular since the publishing of Da Vinci Code and the organ there was gorgeous too.

After that, we visited the Tower Bridge and walked around the periphery of the Tower of London during the break. We didn't enter there because it was dear.

Another splendid programme was attending the Evensong at St. Paul's Cathedral which is fabulous. We could sit on the choir benches next to the choir boys so we could enjoy the songs entirely. I was fascinated by the architecture of St. Paul's. Meanwhile, I thought that only God deserved that magnificent and superb temple.
