Little Isabella is so cunning, she knows how to play tricks on Mama.
I have been teaching Isabella Chinese words for a few months. Even though the progress is quite slow and maybe we will stay in Australia forever, I still insist that Isabella should be capable to read Chinese when she grows up. I read a book 'Your child can read' (Something like that because I read the Chinese version this time), it teaches parents to use flashcards to teach their children vocabulary. So I bought a box of flashcards for Isabella (Richard said, 'Don't waste time to make something that you can get from stores easily') and started to flash them in front of Isabella. According to the book, I don't need to ask for the child's responses. (Just flash it, don't ask!) I did it for one year, off and on. But I finally couldn't bear to teach Isabella without any interactions. Therefore, when she reaches age of 2, I show her the cards again and ask her to read them aloud. It works, and I believe that when I keep doing it consistently, she must acquires the words and be able to read Chinese when she grows up.

By the way, did Isa apply the "horse oil"? If it's good, I'll buy more for her.
