Our gift from God
Received a card from my eldest uncle. On the card, there is a composition in verse.
Parents are part
of God's wonderful plan
for the beautiful world to go on…
He starts with a gift
of deep love in two hearts
and the promise that two shall be one…
(It's about Richard and me - the promise we gained in our matrimony)
He blesses their home
with affection and joy
great enough to be shared with another,
And then, by His miracle,
new life begins,
and the two become father and mother.
(It's about Baby, Richard and me – by His miracle, my baby is healthy, normal and cute)
Richard and I talk about the worries that we bore during pregnancy and we concluded that having a healthy baby is the gift and grace from God. We cherish our gift very much. Even though being Father and Mother is a harsh job, we are ready to do this since we know that God only gives people the things that they can handle.
