Isabella failed at the last growth check up because she could not sit and stand well in front of the nurse. I was unhappy after it. It was not because Isabella couldn't sit. It was because the nurse thought that I didn't take care of Isabella well BECAUSE ISABELLA COULD NOT SIT!!!!!Baby cannot sit = the mother doesn't take care of her (is it logical?)I was very angry because she asked me to join a course about taking care of babies. So I bought Isabella a bumbo chair to train her to sit.
Today, Isabella can sit by herself on the high chair. Cheer!!

U try to buy a fitball (a large exercise ball which can be bought in department store), and to train your little girl to sit. This kind of "training" is to stimulate baby's sitting balance and trunk control. I think it's fine for babies with a bit deviation from developmental milestone, dont u think so?
Forgot to tell.. u have to hold your baby's pelvis while sitting on top of the fitball. Then try to give sideway, forth-and-back movements, or even bouncing on the ball. Of course, u have to hold your baby tight on pelvis along the training. Don't know if I will come back to your site.. If u have any question or interest, u can ask any professional medical staff about this technique. Hope it helps.
Thank you very much!!!
