Going to a Birthday Party

Last Tuesday, we went to the birthday party of a little girl who we met at the playgroup. Isabella was so excited about it since she has read many books about birthday parties before and she longed to join one.

At the party, there was a clown. Right from the beginning, I thought the clown would scare Isabella (She always says she is afraid of clowns). But she did surprised me this time, she didn't cry or run away when she saw the clown, I think maybe it's because the clown was a woman and she spoke gently and softly to the children and she put on a very good puppet play. The clown helped the children with the face painting too. It was the first time that Isabella could sit so still to wait for her turn and let a stranger to touch her face.

After the party, she kept saying, 'It's fun. It's fun at the birthday party.'

Isabella was attracted by the beautiful face painting
and
she was sitting still to wait for her turn.

Her first face painting. She loved it very much.

There was a playhouse in the garden. Isabella went in and out of it.

Look at my little princess, even though she still doesn't know how to play with other children, at least she enjoys playing with me.

Here is Isabella's first face painting video.
